All lanes reopened following fatal crash on Pikes Peak Avenue

COLORADO SPRINGS -

All lanes of traffic have been reopened following a crash where one person was killed. 

The eastbound lanes of Pikes Peak Avenue were closed after two cars were involved in a fatal accident. The southbound lanes of Parkside were closed as well.

It appears a black Chevy SUV collided with blue sedan. The identity of the victim is unknown at this time. 

The major accident unit is responding to investigate. Delays are expected in the area.
