Comprehensive Cancer Care in Colorado Springs

For more than 100 years, we’ve made it our mission to improve the lives of the people we care about in Colorado Springs. And now, with the partnership of UCHealth and its sister hospitals, we can offer a state-wide physician team, increased access to clinical trials and more treatment options and services for cancer patients in southern Colorado than ever before.

In fact, we’re the only hospital in southern Colorado affiliated with a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center and an academic medical center. So if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, you can rest assured that the most advanced care out there – is right here.
3D Mammography

Lung Cancer Screening

In addition to treating and beating cancer – we are also dedicated to preventing the disease when we can. Preventive measures and advanced screenings help you actively manage your path toward wellness.

Advanced Genetics Services

Advanced genetic services are available to help you manage hereditary cancer conditions. By partnering with you and your primary care physician, genetic specialists can help with:

  • Genetic counseling
  • Genetic testing
  • Hereditary cancer syndrome risk assessment
  • Hereditary cancer medical management recommendations

3D Screening Mammography

UCHealth is the only comprehensive cancer program in southern Colorado to offer 3D mammography, which is the most advanced imaging technology available for breast screening. Compared to standard 2D mammography, 3D mammography can detect breast cancer 40 percent sooner. Better imaging also means there is less chance of your doctor calling you back for an unneeded “second look.”

High-Risk Breast Cancer Clinic

We offer personalized assessments to women who have breast health concerns based upon lifestyle or family history. A nurse practitioner offers personalized assessments and works with patients to develop a unique plan for follow-up screenings and evaluations.

Online Lung Screening Program

A seven-minute online screening tool helps identify people with a high risk for lung cancer and connects them with imaging services to identify or rule out cancer before symptoms even occur.

Lung Nodule Clinic

Our lung nodule clinic is designed to rule-out the most serious conditions quickly, and to provide ongoing care and follow-up if necessary. Today, we exceed national benchmarks for diagnosing and treating newly found lung nodules so our patients receive fast access to treatment and resources if a serious condition exists.
