    Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal single car crash on Peyton Highway, Monday afternoon. According to CSP, a Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on Peyton Highway, when the Jeep went off the right side of the road. CSP said the driver over-steered to the left causing the Jeep to rotate.

    A snowboarder who hit a tree in Keystone has been taken off life support.  The Summit Daily says 21-year old Nathan Enright lost control and hit a tree on a beginner trail.  The coroner's office says he was not wearing a helmet and died of severe head trauma.

    A grass fire at Fort Carson that has been burning over the weekend is 100 percent contained, but smoke may still be visible in the area. A plume of smoke was reported visible from Hwy 115, and I-25 in both Colorado Springs and Pueblo over the weekend.

    Right now the Colorado Springs Fire Department is getting ready to start some new mitigation work in 2 neighborhoods. That mitigation will happen around at least 40 homes in the Rockrimmon and Hunter's Point neighborhoods. As most of us know, that work consists of things like removing dead grass, and things that can fuel fires within 30 feet of your home.

    About 10,000 pounds (4,536 kilograms) of food and toys were flown to veterans in rural Colorado communities as part of a 7th annual charity airlift.    KMGH-TV reports that nearly 30 planes took off from Centennial Airport on Sunday, making trips to nine cities across the state.
